Walking past these steps late at night I heard two female voices full of emotion, not with anger but with that sudden clarity of the situation they faced.  It stirred in me the memory of that desperate plea of one partner not wanting to loose the other. That desperate pleading that happens from the disempowerment that only comes from the reality of the loss that is about to happen.......

A GREAT FAMILY DAY

It's always a privilege when you're trusted to record a special time in a families history. For some it's the first time they have entrusted some one outside the family to be involved. The session usually starts with nervous anticipation but should soon change to a natural relaxed fun environment, otherwise most images can be "stiff wooden portraits" and not natural.
