This is a Triple "in camera" exposure. Made on the way down to Mt Cook I couldn't drive past these Birch trees on Lake Ruataniwha, between Twizel and Omarama State Highway 8 Mt Cook South Island New Zealand. I first focused on the orange leaves, then the Silver Birch trees and finally the dark areas between them. You will have read in earlier blogs that I like to try to "get it right in camera" first. (thanks to Jackie Rankin and Mike Langford with their endless patience several years ago now....). This had very little post production work mainly an increase in saturation.
